Aiming for A
At Ernest Bevin Academy, we believe that education is the first step for people to gain the knowledge, critical thinking, empowerment and skills they need. At the heart of our curriculum are our students. We strive to achieve success for all out students and ensure that all our students are getting the best from the education, through quality first teaching.
We run an initative called Aiming for A which offers wrap-around support for students targeted level 7 and above at GCSE and A and above at A-level.
Our Aiming for A students have high target grades at GCSE based on their English and Mathematic scores at primary school. We want students to understand their target grades and be dedicated to reach their potential and more.
We plan trips, organise events and encouarge students to formally feedback how they best learn to their teachers. They can apply their learning and extra-curricular hobbies to the real world.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"
