Pupil Premium

What is Pupil Premium?

The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of pupils who are vulnerable to underachievement. It is primarily aimed at supporting pupils who are eligible for free school meals (FSM), looked after children (LAC), previously looked after children (PLAC), and service children. The funding is designed to close the attainment gap between these groups and their peers by addressing inequalities and ensuring all students can reach their potential.
