A-Level Results
Demonstrating outstanding ambition and perseverance, Ernest Bevin Academy students once more achieved a very strong set of A Level results, with almost 100% of students securing their first choice of university destination.
Destinations in 2024 include Kings College London, Queen Mary's University of London and St Georges University Hospital. Performance was particularly strong in our flagship subjects of the sciences, maths, computer science and engineering. We are super proud of all of them.
Those celebrating particularly impressive individual achievements include Yahya, who will be studying Medicine at Queen Mary University of London this autumn after achieving two As and a B.
Several students will going on to study Computer Science, including:
- Bolu, who will be heading to Queen Mary University of London after achieving an A*, an A and a B;
- Mark, who achieved two As and a B and will also be going to Queen Mary University of London.
Meanwhile, there are also a number of students from Ernest Bevin who will be beginning their Aerospace Engineering studies at Kingston University London this autumn, including: Johar, Umar, Vansh, Ayan, Sultan and Abdullhahi.
Other students celebrating individual successes include:
- Ali, who secured a place at Kings College London to study Pharmacy after achieving two As and a B;
- Ilyas, who will be joining Queen Mary University of London to study Chemical Engineering;
- Mohamed, who will be going to St Georges University Hospital to study Biomedical Science after achieving two As and a B;
- Bilal, who achieved an A* and three As and will be taking a gap year before deciding on next steps;
- Camaron, who has secured a place to study Mechanical Engineering at London South Bank University.

Ernest Bevin boys outperform boys nationally in 2024
Another year of excellent results for Ernest Bevin Academy with many students achieving all top grades of 8 and 9 and 2024 saw a significant improvement on the proportion of students gaining a grade 4 or above in both English and maths.
- Approximately 80% of students achieved a grade four or above in both English and maths, with well over half of them (57%) achieving grade 5 or above in the two subjects.
Among those students celebrating a raft of the top grades in particular were:
- Mohammed, who achieved nine grade 9s;
- Ridwan, who achieved six grade 9s and three grade 8s;
- Roshaan, who achieved five grade 9s and four grade 8s;
- Zain, who achieved five grade 9s and one grade 8;
- Haaris, who achieved four grade 9s and one grade 8.
Many other students gained top grades and over half of all grades achieved by Year 11s this year were grade 5 or above. The school also saw particularly strong subject performances across maths, English, the sciences and computer science.
